Grace Salsido began dancing at her junior high and continued serious training at The Dance Network. There she studied jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, ballroom, contemporary, heels, and was a member of The Dance Networks competitive and professional Senior companies. Grace’s competitive dance team training expanded with the DPHS Dance Team, where she was promoted to captain position. In college, she continued her competitive training on the Azusa Pacific University Dance Team where she was also selected as captain. Grace’s teaching career excelled beyond teaching at her home studio when she was hired to choreograph for the Goleta Junior High Dance Team, the Azusa Pacific University Dance Team, and the La Salle College Preparatory Song Team. 

Grace has had the opportunity to teach at several dance studios throughout LA County as well. Since then, her choreography has won titles and awards at SHARP International, Showstoppers, Starquest, and the USA Collegiate National competition. Grace also became a certified instructor through the Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Program where she learned how to apply functional dance movement to ABA therapy practices to aid students with disabilities. Grace used this knowledge to help launch an Adaptive Dance program at her home studio and has continued teaching adaptive dance classes in the LA area. 

As a dancer, Grace continuously trains and is excited to be learning more from professional jazz and ballroom companies. She hopes to return to Santa Barbara soon and continue to dance and teach at the Dance Network.
